We understand that moving forward during the time of grief takes both work and supportive relationships. Family and friends going through the process of grief themselves may not be as available as you may need, despite best intentions.

It can help to talk with a professional.

Children who’ve lost a parent, sibling or other family member; or children where the parent is grieving may be overlooked by adults who are themselves in grief. Parents experiencing grief, especially the loss of a spouse, may not as available to their children as they might like to be. It can be of help to both the child and the stressed parent if the child has a professional to talk with as well. Please see the list for resources specifically for children.

Many services have sliding scales and welcome adults or children of any financial background.
